Untha LR520 Wood Shredder. A compact and reliable shredding solution for any workshop, easily able to deal with hard & soft woods, chip boards and much more. The Untha LR520 Wood shredder was designed for the requirements of small companies.

Compact, reliable and very energy-efficient. The LR520 is best suited for companies that have a residual timber volume of up to 3 m³ per week. A simple and low maintenance technology with an extremely small footprint (<1 m²). It enables you to efficiently recycle your residual timber.

Untha LR520 Compact Reliable Shredding

Untha LR520 Compact and reliable shredding of small residual timber volumes. The Untha LR520 wood shredder’s reliability and low maintenance comes from its sturdy steel construction and its single shaft shredding system. The pusher-free design has a pull-in mechanism. The rotor independently pulls in the wood. With fewer moving parts, maintenance costs are reduced to a minimum.

Other features that will benefit you and your company are, the gear damper which cushions strong blows during the shredding process and ensures the machine’s quiet operation. It has a mechanism that detects foreign objects, which automatically shuts down the shredder. This helps to prevent damage to the cutting unit.

For energy efficiency, The Untha LR520 can easily shred residual timber. It only requires a drive capacity of 11 kW. When it idles for more than 3 minutes, the machine shuts down automatically. This saves energy and simultaneously reduces operating costs. The LR520 produces high-quality granulate that is well suited for thermal utilisation or briquetting.
